The beautiful Pedralbes monastery in Barcelona´s Sarrià neighborhood, was founded by Queen Elisenda de Montcada in 1327. Following the spiritual currents of the time, the new monastery was inhabited from the beginning by Poor Clare nuns, the female branch of the Order of Saint Francis, who resided there practically uninterruptedly until 1983.
The building constitutes one of the best examples of Catalan Gothic, both for the church and for the three-story cloister, one of the most spacious and harmonious of this style.

Sunday August 20, 2023 was FC Barcelona's first home match in the Liga 2023-2024 against Cádiz. Also, for the first time Barça played In the Olympic stadium on Mont Juïc, because their own Camp Nou stadium is being drastically renovated until November 2024. It took some getting used to, but we were all there again and a good outcome with a 2-0 win.

Due to the persistent drought in Spain, unfortunately, the famous fountain 'Font Mágica' in Barcelona is dry this summer. In normal years, as day transformed into night, the enchanting waters dance to symphonies of light and music, painting a breathtaking spectacle you will never forget. Hopefully to be seen live again soon, but for now enjoy the fountain in this video to the music of 'Barcelona' by Montserrat Caballé and Freddy Mercury.
